DEMONSTRATION CLASSES

Yesterday our college arranged demonstration class for B.Ed students. Our two seniors Sajitha chechi deals with a demonstration class on the basis of activity model and Bismi chechi deals with demonstration class on the basis of concept attainment model for social science students. Other optional are arranged demonstration lesson . After that session evening 6.30 to 7.15 we got an opportunity to attend the class of Dr. Chinju rani Ma'am. Ma'am working in Nedumangad B.Ed training college. Ma'am give a demonstration class on the basis of "advance organiser model" put forward by Ausbel . Meaning ful verbal learning happens in that model. She talk the students how to devope this model. First stage of this model is Presentation. Teacher presents the chapter first through a simple story then it develop through using materials. She teches 3rd chapter of 8 th standard "In search of Earth". At last teacher shows a concept map and video presentation and ask some questions. Teacher give assignment question and wint up the session. Athira give a heart felt thank to madam for the valuable and informative class.
